Three US deadlines have already closed this year: Oregon's annual reporting and Maryland's SB 901 registration on May 31, 2026, and Washington's producer registration on July 1, 2026. Producers who missed any of them should register with the relevant PRO immediately to limit further exposure. Attention now shifts to California SB 54, where CAA issues its first fee invoices in January 2027 and the first PPMF payment falls due on March 1, 2027, and to the EU PPWR, which has applied since August 12, 2026.
