How is Packgine priced?

Pricing is scoped to your portfolio rather than sold at a fixed list price. The two variables that drive it are the number of SKUs in scope and the number of jurisdictions you report in, with integration requirements as a secondary factor. Every tier is quoted individually, and there are no setup fees.

Why are there no published prices on this page?

Two companies with the same SKU count can have very different compliance workloads depending on how many states or member states they sell into and how their packaging data is stored today. Rather than publish a number that would be wrong for most buyers, we scope each quote against your actual SKU list and jurisdiction footprint.

What counts as a SKU for pricing purposes?

A SKU is a distinct sellable product with its own packaging specification. Variants that share an identical packaging bill of materials are usually counted once. Components within a SKU, such as a bottle, closure, label, and shipper, are not counted separately even though they are reported separately.

How are jurisdictions counted?

Each US state with an active packaging EPR program counts as one jurisdiction, and each EU member state counts as one. The UK is counted separately because packaging EPR and the Plastic Packaging Tax use their own thresholds and reporting formats.

Can we change tiers as our obligations expand?

Yes. Most customers start with the states where they are already obligated and add jurisdictions as new programs take effect. Your packaging dataset carries over, so moving from Starter to Growth or from Growth to Enterprise does not require re-onboarding your catalog.

Are producer responsibility organization fees included?

No. The fees you pay to a producer responsibility organization are set by that PRO and paid directly to it. Packgine calculates, forecasts, and files against those fee schedules, but the fees themselves sit outside your subscription.
